Terms & Conditions

Welcome to AKUSA Ltd. These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of all vehicle detailing services supplied by AKUSA Ltd ("AKUSA", "we", "our" or "us"). By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About AKUSA
AKUSA Ltd provides professional mobile vehicle detailing services throughout the United Kingdom.

2. Bookings
Appointments can be made through our website or by contacting us directly.
Once a booking has been confirmed, we will reserve time specifically for your vehicle.
No deposit is currently required.
3. Payment
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless agreed otherwise in writing.
We accept:
- Card
- Cash
- Bank Transfer
Vehicles remain the responsibility of the customer until payment has been made in full.
4. Vehicle Inspection
Before work begins, we may inspect your vehicle to assess its overall condition.
Should we discover contamination, damage or additional work that was not apparent when the quotation was provided, we will discuss this with you before proceeding.
No additional work will be carried out without your agreement.
5. Estimated Completion Times
Any times provided are estimates only.
Actual completion times may vary depending upon:
- Vehicle size
- Vehicle condition
- Weather
- Additional agreed services
- Unexpected contamination
AKUSA will always aim to complete work to the highest possible standard rather than rushing a service.
6. Weather
As a mobile detailing business, weather can affect our ability to complete work safely and to our expected standard.
Where appropriate, we may:
- Continue with the appointment.
- Modify the service.
- Reschedule the appointment at no additional cost.
The decision will always be discussed with the customer.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
- The vehicle is accessible.
- Keys are available.
- Adequate working space is available.
- The vehicle can be safely worked on.
Where available, AKUSA may choose to use the customer's electricity supply using our own extension equipment. AKUSA carries its own water and power supply where required.
8. Vehicle Condition
Cleaning a vehicle can reveal existing defects which may have been hidden beneath dirt or contamination.
AKUSA accepts no responsibility for pre-existing:
- Scratches
- Stone chips
- Paint defects
- Rust
- Dents
- Failing lacquer
- Previous poor-quality repairs
- Worn leather
- Faded trim
Our services do not create these defects but may make them more visible after the vehicle has been properly cleaned.
9. Existing Damage
AKUSA is not responsible for damage resulting from existing weaknesses or deterioration including, but not limited to:
- Loose badges
- Loose trim
- Cracked plastics
- Poor repaint work
- Oxidised paint
- Failing clear coat
- Corroded wheels
- Damaged vinyl wraps
- Damaged paint protection film
Where concerns are identified, we may advise against certain procedures.
10. Ceramic Coatings
Ceramic coatings significantly improve protection and ease of maintenance but are not indestructible.
Performance and durability depend upon:
- Correct maintenance.
- Regular washing.
- Environmental exposure.
- Vehicle usage.
Customers are responsible for following any aftercare advice provided. Where a manufacturer-backed coating is supplied, any applicable warranty remains subject to the manufacturer's own terms and conditions.
11. Paint Enhancement & Machine Polishing
Paint enhancement and paint correction improve the appearance of paintwork by reducing visible defects.
Results vary depending upon:
- Paint condition
- Paint hardness
- Previous repairs
- Existing damage
AKUSA cannot guarantee the complete removal of every scratch or defect.
12. Hazardous Vehicles
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue work where a vehicle contains:
- Hazardous waste
- Human or animal bodily fluids
- Needles
- Dangerous contamination
- Unsafe modifications
Any decision will be made in the interests of safety.
13. Customer Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate our services where abusive, threatening or aggressive behaviour is directed towards our staff.
14. Personal Belongings
Customers should remove valuables before the appointment.
Where personal belongings remain inside the vehicle, reasonable care will be taken during cleaning.
Any valuables discovered during the service will be left safely within the vehicle.
15. Photography & Marketing
AKUSA may photograph or film vehicles before, during and after the service for:
- Quality control
- Staff training
- Marketing
- Social media
- Website content
Registration numbers and identifying information will be obscured where reasonably practicable. Customers may opt out of marketing photography by informing us before work begins.
16. Mechanical Faults
Our services do not include vehicle inspections or mechanical repairs.
Should we notice anything unusual, we may inform the customer as a courtesy.
AKUSA accepts no responsibility for diagnosing or repairing vehicle faults.
17. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our work, please inform us before we leave wherever reasonably possible.
If an issue becomes apparent afterwards, customers should notify us within 48 hours.
AKUSA must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle and, where appropriate, rectify any workmanship issue before any third party carries out corrective work.
18. Limitation of Liability
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to applicable law, AKUSA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our services.
Our liability shall be limited to the value of the detailing service provided.
19. Force Majeure
AKUSA shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform services caused by events beyond our reasonable control including:
- Severe weather
- Road closures
- Illness
- Equipment failure
- Accidents
- Government restrictions
20. Changes to Services
AKUSA reserves the right to modify services where necessary to protect the vehicle, our equipment or the safety of our staff.
Any significant changes affecting price will always be discussed before work continues.
21. Complaints
We take pride in our workmanship.
Any concerns should be reported promptly so we have the opportunity to resolve them fairly and efficiently.
22. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
